I look to the left;
I look to the right.
I don't see anyone;
there is no one in sight.

I call out for help;
there is no one to hear my cries.
Am I still alive
or have I already died?

My hopes,
my dreams;
all have disappeared.
There is no one
to help me here.

Like broken glass,
my life has shattered;
there is no one
who believes I matter.

I can no longer see;
I close my eyes.
There is no one with me;
I begin to cry.

I'm alone in the dark;
I can't see the sun.
Life has left me behind;
there is no one.
