Rain

by Hopeless Romantic   Jan 20, 2010

Platter, Plink, platter
The water does splatter
down the windowsill it goes
as the rain still pours
Like i child I
got outside and I
Look wonderously to the sky

Its grey confused form
Try to decide to turn into a storm
Like a cloud being squeezed dry
It falls heavily from the sky

The sun haloed in its shine
Immersed in the sky
In the rain there I stand
Without an umbrella in hand

Plink, platter, plink
raining against the streets
In my white tshirt and jeans
And then I begin to sing
while dancing in a circle wide
having nothing to hide
"Rain, rain go away"
