Just Another Girl

She is the essence of all beauty on earth,
The exception to the saying nobodies perfect.
How could someone so precious possibly have flaws,
The one thing in life for me worth dying to protect.

Her elegance is above and beyond hollow words,
She is the star you reach for but never quite touch.
I dream of her endlessly without caution or falter,
Safe to say I will never again love anyone this much.

An exquisite princess not even gods angels can rival,
She is untouchable like clouds on a clear summer day.
Every night that I dream of her my dreams come true,
Unbelievable greatness not even Monet could portray.

Her flawless smile melts my heart like warm chocolate,
Fragrance of strawberry skin intoxicates my entire soul.
If she can be this beautiful how can heaven not exist,
Pieces of her complete the puzzle that makes me whole.

If I had a wish it would be to feel all her pain and sadness,
When I look deep into her chestnut eyes I see the world.
My heart cannot beat without her the true meaning of life,
To me she'll never be anything close, to just another girl.

    These lines bring an irony to the poem, in a great way. The poem overall shows that this love of your life is someone you've really grown to care for & would give your life for.

    An exquisite princess not even gods angels can rival", this was by a shadow of a doubt the best line from this poem. The poem had a very smooth flow and the word selection was very professional. great work
