I walked away [silently]
with a deep sigh
and without a word.
breaking my own heart
shattering my own world
without a grumble.
pretending to ignore you
pretending a happy me
with a painful smile
with an aching heart
hurting you
hurting me
I walked away [silently]
with a deep sigh
and without a word...
so that you can have
a blissful brilliant brighter world.

    It is difficult to give up someone you love and "walk away". So this one is very moving and a sad story. I wonder why? Emotions well expressed!
