Falling Without the Fear

by She Is My Rain   Mar 12, 2010

They say it cant be true,
Because we are too young.
Too young to feel.
But our last song was never sung,
And baby, hearts can heal.
Your eyes reveal
What your words cannot.
So watch me stumble and come undone.
This seasons fears have begun.
When broken hearts
Are children's play,
Id keep you alive
Just for that smile.
Just close those eyes.
You own this world.
Your voice echoes in my ears
Until I don't want to sleep anymore.
And I can remember the taste of your tears.
So much more then I could implore.
So scream to me, and tell me this is wrong.
Tell me every word they say is true.
Maybe then I could stop loving you.
But even as those words
Leave your mouth
You're endlessly falling backwards.
So I'm telling you,
That this is more then true.
And Ill keep you alive,
Because you are how I survive.
Ill hold your heart in
The palm of my hands.
Ill keep it safe
With every breath I take.
This feels so much like falling.
Falling without the fear,
Because I know we will
Keep each other here.
