I miss you.

by Yakari Gabriel   Mar 24, 2010

Diamond skies above me
like a shelter coverd with solitude
oceans so deep surrounding me
still on the surface i remain
-waiting

tulips bloom beside me
and the moon iluminates my cheeks
between crossed paths i walk
i can not find something worth
the crystal sincerity of my heart
- searching

and in the deserted desert of love
my reason got lost
slipped away like sand between my fingers
still,within every sunrise
-i miss you.

I really liked how you ened each stanza. Each word or line leaves a lingering feeling and I really liked that effect. Nice work dear. Nik :]

Yaki, this is a much beautiful poem to be entitled "I miss you" I would say the title underrates it.
I loved your opening lines, your ending was smooth, the metaphor is amazing. Great job dudette!
I would only suggest you change the title.
