Clouds

by Shaded Sunrise   Jun 6, 2010

Free from the chains of societies morrow,
I sit on a cloud and wonder, dream, cry,
Free from the pain of yesterday,
But trapped forever in its hateful melody,
Like clockwork we tick until the batteries dies,
Without care or thought,
until the final thought "I don't want to die"
On clouds we sit oblivious,
Forgotten when we drift to far away,
have I been forgotten?
Replaced by what the wind has brought,
Two clouds have moved apart,
But don't forget me now that i'm gone,
Even if you have someone else.
