As my tears fall at your feet
You stare at me in disbelief
Not knowing what you've done
As for me you now shun

Three words flowed from your mouth
Words you knew nothing about
Falling for your stupid trick
All you needed was a fix

Feeling of guilt consumes me
Your flaws I couldn't see
Scars you left upon my heart
My soul you tore apart

I've been given inner peace
From a higher source
That will not cease
Joy he's given me now abounds
Because of you him I have found

    Hmm, I'm getting the same "darkness" from this poem as I did the other one. Well, except the end of course. There can't ever be anything dark about Jehovah. ^_^ He provides for us in so many ways and helps us even when we feel like we don't deserve it. Great emotion in this one as well, it also promotes optimism, always looking for the brighter side of something.
