Breathless

Every time I look at you I always catch my breath
Always thinking about you with every single step
My heart keeps racing down this road tonight
The sparks from your eyes my pathway ignites

Your voice is a melody to my ears
You only make me shed happy tears
Can't imagine how I could love you more
Although those words I've said before

The strings to my heart you play
A beautiful melody you create
Creating a moment I'll never forget
Your undying love will forever leave me breathless.

    This poem was beautiful and i really loved your use of language and analogies...my only advice is on the second line to say" Always thinking about you with every (single) step" That way there are the same # of syllables as the verse before and the stanza doesn't lose it's flow :)

    ^^ this right here are my favorite lines from your poem, I found them really uplifting.
    I mean how that someone can ignite the pathway from where you are walking, sounds as if it's your angel guarding guiding you to your destiny. :)
