Just Walk

by WakingFreedom   Jul 2, 2010

A few more feet, a few more yards
Just keep going, Just keep walking
Don't turn back to pick up the pieces
Of a heart you made broken
Go miles away and galaxies further
I don't need your arms wrapped around me
To comfort me like they used to
Just let go and leave
Just fly away and sail onward
Don't look back to see
The last of my tears to fall
Because after they've dried
No more will fill these eyes of mine
It's time to let it be and move on
It's time to turn around and go forth
Because I am telling you to Just Walk.

"A few more feet, a few more yards"

That was a strong opening line. It had a strong meaning too, of letting go and moving on, which is tough to do...."Just Walk" was a nice title to. It's simple, because in situations like these, you just have to walk..

I definately enjoyed this it was really well done and had a nice message behind it. Although its tough to walk away it'll make us stronger, no use in pretending something will work when it won't. Great job 5/5
