The Natural World

by Timothy   Jul 17, 2010

The rain trickles down through the leaves,
Soft pitter-patters,
The sky is a an open invitation to purity,
The ground thanks her for the life-giving gift.

The rabbits are more free now,
They have begun to lose their timidness,
They eat the grass and leaves watered so well,
And there is no fear.

The foilage has consumed much of the structures,
Mankind is quickly being swallowed by nature,
One hundred years and Earth has reclaimed her throne,
And soon there will be no trace at all.
