Revelation

by Poet on the Piano   Jul 23, 2010

I am a messenger,
delivering priceless sermons
of unquestionable love
by a pure smile or selfless word.
We, travelers of rage,
surrender to distress
without a prayer for aid.
While the world tilts
we often forget who we can trust
and silence becomes a beast,
untamable in spirit.
If we obey and give ourselves
immeasurable gifts we will receive,
better understanding of when
to share our thoughts,
and when to speechlessly listen.
My literary heart knows
there is more for my hand
than the heavy duties of work.
I can inspire,
only through the Holy Spirit,
who was the first direction
my ready pen was given.
I hear a soothing wind
carry my mission
across unclaimed land,
waiting for regained leadership.
He has whispered faith,
a tunnel with endless sunbeams,
onto my changed mind.
My soul is open always
for the charity to love.
