Darkness of a child's world

by Ezra   Jul 25, 2010

Shadows come;
They are strong,
The light is dimming,
The darkness growing,
The flowers dyeing,
The stars falling,
Feelings are cascading,
Fear is strong,
Hatred lasts,
Love leaves,
Sorrow comes.

Sadden eyes go unseen,
Laughing faces
Of masks unrealized,
Emotions darken,
A wall comes forth,
None can see
The shadowed tears
Of a child's soul.

Eyes lowered to the ground,
Darkening hair hides a scared eye,
Her body clouded in blacks and blues.
She hides behind her wall of hair;

Knowing all to well
The horror of her mother,
Knowing all to well
The sins of her blood,
Knowing all to well
The evils of her birth,

She believes of evil deeds,
Sinful vows and cruel souls,
Ride the waves of her rushing
Heart beat, her veins of blood;
Full of her fears

Her dreams of death and blood,
Would be nightmares to others,
But they are welcomed upon her shattering mind and heart.
The deathly dreams
Pull her saddening
Words together,
To form a girl
Full of dark poems,
That reflects that of her soul

She cries again and again,
But only images of herself
Doing so, last in her mind
Memories of her tears ,
Go unseen by others.

I want to post 'angels vow' but it's hardly a poem.
would that be okay?
