Psychogenesis

by Armada the Gestalt   Aug 17, 2010

Self-abortive, psychoactive,
broken lyrical machine.
open window, icicles on the desk,
leaves in the pantry,
veins in skeins
and wither.

Thought to lean away,
thought to hide away,
thought to creep away again -
and it crawled after, tripping in the footprints,
white and pale and featherless, squealing.

close the door and strip by the curtains,
peel back fabric, skin,
bare to the ribs.
Feel so faithless, hopeless, powerless;
How can they not see this monster?
Eyes dart sideways:
seek to escape,
false smiles fall on deaf directions,

refuge in smoke, dark and coiling,
all alone where the dead can't follow,
wander between the spires of process,
Psychosomatic,
Follow, follow.

Thought to move away,
thought to run away,
thought to crawl away again,
and it crept after, eclipsing footfalls,
searching eyes and voiceless, roaring.

Gateless psychotic;
Follow.
Follow.

    This is a very in depth poem.I really enjoyed how unique it is and how intense the word make it. It adds alot to the poem. :) Great work once again!
