It's Your Choice Isn't It?

by Nobody   Aug 22, 2010

One hazy night,
values were compromised
clothes scattered on floor

That's how we ended up here
what made you think
you could escape the consequences?

Now you stuck at a cross road
what shall it be? Pro life or Pro Choice?
You know what you want.

But he shakes his head,
pressing a firm hand meant for comfort
but all you can think about is how much it burns.

I mean you are only kids right?
what made you think
you could play grown ups?

Making grown up decisions take time
but he won't listen to you.
He has college, a future to think about

His plans don't involve playing daddy.
You wish you could scream
It's your body, your choice, your future isn't it?

You felt a small kick today,
as the doctor spoke, of prodecures
and your heart nearly broke

But he squeezes your hand
and whispers Your doing the right thing
how are we to raise baby when we are just kids?

Still stuck at the cross road
Pro life or Pro choice?
its your choice isn't it.
