Whatever I can do

by Timothy   Aug 28, 2010

Cheating is a vile, ugly thing,
It's worse than a stab in the back;
It blackens a once lovely emotion,
With a cowardly attack.

It can make a warm person grow cold,
It can take away all self-worth;
Corrupting a marriage bed,
And giving mistrust a rebirth.

Whatever I can do, I will do it,
If there is anything under the sun;
I have hurt her in ways unimaginable,
And if she can forgive me, this still will not be undone.
