Unconsciously living in a conscious world
With one day after another but waiting for tomorrow
Even though unaware what that day will hold
Wishing for hope but usually getting despair
Having to realize that this life just isn't fair
Surrounded solely by ignorance
Praying for a second chance
Holding on to hope for a better day
But forgetting how bad it was yesterday
Not appreciating the now for all it's worth
Reliving mankinds mistakes since birth
Ambitions towards the almighty dollar
Leading us astray from our father
Will love lead or will it be left to greed
