Ink Stained Heart

by StarryBlackNight   Sep 20, 2010

An ink black heart that reflected no light.
Hard brown eyes that were like chips of rock.
No smile to make the ugly scowling face into a charming one.
She was alone, against the world in a never-ending war.

A heart that was pure white and radiated with light.
His warm blue eyes were endless as the sea.
His face was beautiful, a smile always there.
It seemed the whole world was his friend.

He lit up her universe with one small smile.
A part of her ink stained heart shudder with longing.
Her eyes seemed to grow softer,
And a smile graced her cheeks.
She faced the world with feelings she had never felt before.

Day by day,
Hour by hour,
Minute by Minute,
The Ink Stained Heart became colourful.
Blues, and greens, and reds, and yellows, and purples,
Shone from inside the girl.

The world watched in wonder as two people,
With two different destinies,
One bound to the Light,
The other bound to Darkness,
Became the only destiny for each other.

One day the Light collapsed,
Leaving in it's death,
A once again present shadow.
Now matter how it tried,
The coloured stained tears wouldn't stop flowing.

Soon, every colour was gone,
The Ink Stained Heart was back again.
The world turned it's back on her,
And the girl and the world began their war again.
No matter how hard she tried, she viewed it with bitter eyes.

One day the world awoke,
To find the Ink Stained Heart gone.
It searched but not hard enough.
When they found the Ink Stained Girl,
She was lying on top of the light,
On her face was a rainbow of colours,
That would never fade from time.
