The One

I think that it's so exciting
The way that things always turn out
When life is being all sucky
A good thing always comes about
You don't know when it will happen
Or exactly what it will be
All you know is that it will come
So to find out just wait and see
My life is not at all normal
Nothing ever stays quite the same
It of course has it's ups and downs
But I just have myself to blame
I really like the way I feel
Now that you are always around
I'm not quite sure how I should act
And I'm afraid of how I'll sound
I still don't know what you will think
After you've been around me more
I think that's why I've been all weird
I have yet to unlock that door
That door of mine that has been shut
I don't know how it will open
Someone has to find the right key
To unlock what once was broken
I know that it may take a while
But I think that it can be done
If you want to give it a shot
You may very well be the one
The one person that I can help
And the one that always helps me
Through anything that may happen
We'll just have to wait and we'll see

    Wow. i really liked this one! message was spot on and i can relate to it

    i was worried about stuff like this way to much. i pretty much had to hit rock bottom before i tried something different. instead of trying to think of how i should act, i just did what came natural.

    the way i see it, you are who you are. and when you try to be somebody else, it looks and feels weird. you may want them to like you, so you try and change to be what they like... THATS WRONG! >:[

    it is much better to be yourself. Kurt Cobain once said, "I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." in fact it was the stress of trying to please everybody that eventually drove him to suicide.
