Two tears on a river

Here we are floating down this river. Droplets of rain that fell from the sky, together we are, you and I. I am a tear drop of a story untold. You are indeed another teardrop, a mystery..Now I ask you, unfold.

A drop of salted water with every surrounding inch in it's reflection. That's what I am. I am everything you see encased in a tiny ball of sorrow. You know, I am a teardrop on a leaf on a river. What more can I say?

Another teardrop may I ask you who you are? Your floating beside me on a greener leaf but your story is still folded up into it's little mystery. I cannot reach you from where I am on this river.

" I am the teardrop that falls from the eyes of joy. " he said as he floated his way. " My forming came from a pure happiness that would not contain. "

You mean, Your a tear of joy ? Why that is quite an interesting unfolding you have told. How can I become one, dear tear of joy? Must I see the joy in all things to be the tear that you say?

" Tear of sorrow all it takes a simple step, You choose today who you will be and then you let it reflect. "

I watched tear of joy flow into the river and I sat on my browned old leaf simply stunned. For I finally knew what the tear of joy really meant.

To be a tear of joy I must let go of my sorrow. Letting go of my sorrow will change all that I perceive around me then. When my perception becomes different then my reflection won't be the outside world reflecting back. Instead, My choice will make my reflection all that I am. My reflection becomes my inner joy instead of circumstance.

From there I proceeded to turn a new leaf. I hopped into the water where I was able to reflect all that was around me and inside of me.

I am a tear of joy, on a river, floating down the way.

A tear of joy I desire to be for the rest of my days.
