Bear Me The Pain

by Elliott Lica   Nov 1, 2010

As i gaze out through the windows of my eyes, i weap, my ears are filled with cries, for all the pain they feal, for all the tears they shed, for all of them who have been left unfed, give me your pain. Oh mother Earth, forgive us for we know not what we do, some are aware but have only scraped the surface, our world is fueled by pain. so on behalf of everything, i shall carry your burden, oh world, give me your pain, your sorrow, your doubt, your hate. cast it upon me and relinquish yourself from it. i will shed your tears, i will hold you close, i will take from you what hurts, and take it upon my self to endure it, i am strong, do not pitty me, it is the least i can do to repay you for giving me this life. oh world lay upon me your pain so once again you may smile and greet the day...
