On the dark end of a sword
I debate my existence
Rebellious to the end
For the sake of resistance

The world needs a villain
Introduce some chaos
To a perfectly fake world
Put yourself on the cross

Rain on their parade
To reveal the truth
The world is cold
Even to the youth

Someday my end will come
For those who live by the sword
Fate has a way about destiny
Innocence lost, then ignored

If there is a word to speak
If there is an idea to think
If there is something to fight for
There is something to fight against

There is no truth to find
Only lies to expose
The more you know about swords
The greater number of woes

    Reminds me of the quote, The pen is mightier than the sword. The last two verses pull the entire poem together for me. Truth is apparent, it is the lies that need to be exposed. Well done.
