Hello my love,
my precious dear,
There's something that
you need to hear.

I never thought
there'd come a day,
When I would have
to stop and say.

I miss your love,
I miss your glow.
I miss the girl,
I used to know.

The one who's smile,
lit up my day.
And made my
sadness go away.

What happened to
the you I met?
The one who'd play,
in every bet.

And even if,
You lost, you'd say.
"I'll win again
another day."

lets talk tonight,
I'll set you free.
I promise you
can vent to me.

I'll understand,
I'll make you smile.
and even if
it takes a while.

I promise I will
be right here.
To set you free
and in the clear.

To fix our love,
to prove it's true.
because I know,

that I love you.

    I really can't fault this. It carries a great message of hope and love without waffling or symbolic imagery. Don't get me wrong, imagery is great but I also love when poetry just does what it says on the tin and clearly comes from the heart. 5/5 every time from me. xx
