War

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Nov 26, 2010

War.
Life is a constant state of war.
Every moment is either a victory or a loss.
Your mere survival means so far you've won.
War.
Wisdom.
Adaptibility.
Resilience.
That's how you win the war.

*WAR: Wisdom, Adaptability, and Resilience.

I really enjoyed reading this even though I define war in a different way lol. We are responsible. But I liked how you defined it as well, it all depends on the person. Nice write deary :] Nik

A very powerful poem written in so few lines and yet you have captured the essence of war and the brutality of it. The imagery is good for such a short poem and also the way you went about writing it was unique and creative. Many emotions could be wrought from this poem but the one I felt the most was a sense of melancholy. Great job and keep writing.

Powerful words you have written. Every moment a victory or loss, sometimes there is surrender where you neither win or lose. Even in surrender by staying strong, you will survive. Well done.
