My Story

I met a girl in the park one day
She spotted my notepad
She asked what I was writing
"Just some poems" I said
"Honestly I've never been into poetry
Why do you write those things"
Well I just looked at her and said
"Cause they're all about me
Who I am and what made me
Poems about me, love, and pain
Enduring, surviving, and trusting
These poems all tell my story
The good, the bad, and the painful"
