A Thousand Years

by Mello193   Dec 4, 2010

Through the pendilum as it swings
deeper does my agony ring
to abate my happiness
as the abyss is soon to progress

proceding in on beauty at rest
watch the magic fade away as she bleeds
like a puppet with broken strings
as the wound begins to sting
all the songs you wouldnt sing

asured as the raven begins to fly
our love in midnight sky is soon to die

and now it hurts that well never be together
the first mistake was promising forever

in the coffin of silent screams
watching as beauty silently dreams

knowing what i know now
knowing what i knew then
misery consumes it all again

sweetly dream from night night
beautys unrest lays into plight
feeding desire
carnage in sight
now watch as beauty begins to die
dont a single person cry

sold my soul for one goodbye
hide my scars in trivial lie
hide my face in broken tears
hide my heart for a thousand years

That is wonderful writing, I was captured by the style and brought on a journey. A sad tale that I relate too, that always helps to get more involved in someones poetry.
