Rated E for Everyone

by David Paul   Dec 10, 2010

Feeling cheap and undefeated,
Found out life is what I needed,
Living by the crystal ball,
My narration is so conceited,
Hooked on health and future trends,
Thoughts of me tend to depend,
On how much fuel this rocket has,
And if I'll have friends in the end.

Last time that you saw me on the side of the road,
I came across a messed up bend and held my life out of control.

Looking for adult consent,
Nothing is the permanent,
Clap my hands and stop their heads,
These voices must be heaven sent.

The first time that a star fell from the sky know I knew your name,
Now that we are friends won't you tell me there's nothing wrong with my brain,
It's dark out here I have no light,
I want to smoke before the fight,
I play the songs that I want to and stay up wired through the night.

Feeling like the top contender,
It's so bad I just surrendered,
Passing cars with broken lights,
To mail off letters with no sender,
Stuck on go to see the show,
Found out things I want to know...
...
So we'll see how far this goes.

Last thing that I told you was to hide all your gold,
You kept it in a guarded room afraid that it would melt like snow.

I swear this is delivery,
Gone so far the eye can't see,
Run them down then snuff them out,
I'm done with constant misery.

The first time that a star fell from the sky know I knew your name,
Now that we are friends won't you tell me there's nothing wrong with my brain,
It's dark out here I have no light,
I want to smoke before the fight,
I play the songs that I want to and stay up wired through the night.
