Holding me down
Love is an anchor

Keeping me under
Love is a drug

I'm still lost
Love is a maze

My freezing body
Love is the frost

Can't see
Love is a blindfold

Can't wake up
Love is a nightmare

[ yet somehow ]

Can't feel any pain
Love is healing

Floating away
Love is a breeze

Gazing into space
Love is the distraction

Writing poetry
Love is an inspiration

Your reading my mind
Love is a thought

Don't want to wake up
Love is a dream

    I loved this poem! Every line in it was awesome, but my fav was "my freezing body, love is the frost". Great job on this one! I am glad you wrote another poem, all of us have been in a funk lately and haven't posted any new ones. :)
