"Not Who You Think I Am"

“Not Who You Think I Am” (6-18-04)

Some say I’m quiet;
some say I’m shy.
They say I look innocent;
I wonder why.

The truth is, I’m none of those things;
just slightly crazy and deranged.

My wild side is the one
that people never see.
No one gives me the time;
they don’t know the real me.

I have a bad girl inside;
she’s naughty twenty-four, seven.
I’m perverted all the time;
I’ll never get into heaven.

Filled with anger;
I’m unable to release it.
I don’t want to cause trouble,
so inside I’m forced to keep it.

I’m not the girl you see me as;
just as quiet as a lamb.
You must look behind the mask;
I’m not who you think I am.
