Respiration

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 28, 2010

Opaque and vaporous
scenery inspired me to
tilt my head delicately,
my tender legs
making polite introductions
to the pools
of cathartic relief.

The resplendent aura
bore no disguise,
whisking immortality
and purifying my
stringent expression.

Humming showers
and azure skybound
streamers fluently
grasped the distance
and led my soul
into love's clear valley.
