I'll see you in my dreams

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 28, 2010

On a prolific day
I become distracted
by the thought
of abstract foliage
and instrumental
waves that experiment.

How do I know
you won't paint
the color into
my dreary veins
and clear the
foggy windows,
I gaze after?

Soon, I will
receive your writings
and respond
soundlessly,
for words occupy
no humble softness
that calm my thinking.

This was a bit choppy, hun!

I like the wording, message, just it seems like you chopped it into too many small pieces.

I just read it again and it's a little eerie somehow..it is as if you are afraid of this person you are talking about, about how he/ she will affect you once you let them into your life..mmmhh..I like a poem that leaves me thinking about the content!

    Well done:)
