Ignored reasons

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 31, 2010

Shuffling over rocky pebbles,
I clench my stomach
with hopes of recovering
from this permeating illness.

I will not lower myself
to pointing fingers
yet you give me little
room to act normal.

Blurry spots blink rapidly,
another second spent
speeding on useless passage;
and for the first time,
I don't ask why you left,
I just focus on moving.
