On Local Medicine

by Allan Padgham   Jan 5, 2011

I've a problem just lately perplexing, with the shops just adjacent to me;
and I ponder about what's concerning and just how this happened to be.
Now I am all for correction and healing and with remedies simple or strange
and it's not with the size of the practice, or the costs which I'm seeking to change.
There are medicos here in abundance as well as a chemist and vet.
Yes, they deal with a host of our ailments, I'm amazed at the service we get.

Jason Knott is the man, should you suffer from an ache or a pain in your back
for he pokes at your spine and he rolls it and then gives it a tweak or a whack.
Doctor Ferr is a GP of some note, in this spot for a number of years.
with a manner both calming and pleasant, he allays every one your fears.
E.J. King is a chemist dispensing; pills and potions of varied descriptions.
He is known all about for his pricing and the pensioner discount prescriptions.
Doctor Likely the vet, well he's here too, just a part of the service you get
For they cure whatever may ail thee and they can do the same for your pet.

Now the complex is soundly constructed and it looks really nice from the street
and the parking is ample and gardens, well designed and it's all very neat.
There is only one thing that's a worry, on a thing that I will not be silent
If I get no redress then I sadly confess I 'll go down there and maybe get violent.
I don't mind the design or the shape of the sign, it's the message that flashes out nightly.
Just four simple words that I have to complain, and this is it "Knott, Ferr, King, Likely.
