How you see and how I love

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 16, 2011

You continue,
crushing your breath
and wishing on ashy stars
to take your stride away.

As if magic could simply
make you forgotten.

I save earth, for your delight,
constructing stairways to the sun.

In my eyes I see your martyrdom,
you have already climbed my mountain
and found me.
