Impossible resistance

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 17, 2011

How can I find complaints
coated in your smile
and layered through your eyes?

The snow drifts and golden
lines that wield the sun,
keeps me from dreaming
to deep into the empathy.

Your laughs that you just
pass by, are like drizzles
of sugar in my eyes.

The multicolored writing
and ties you adorn yourself
with, just capture my hunger,
the picture is almost complete.

In my wildest, fully grown fantasy
we are happily engaged in
this castle, where waterfalls
emerge from sugary doors
of cupcakes and frosted hearts.

How could I forget a sweet
face like yours?

It makes me smile, tempts
me to sing until I fill the world
with a delicate sensation
of that irresistible chocolate
again and again.

-Of course, my 500th poem just has to be on cupcakes! My favorite food about!
