Before time

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 22, 2011

As You breathed onto valleys and
endless bearing gardens,
You formed a plan for me
and all the children warming your heart.
You named us after each fruit
sculpted by your unblemished hand,
such virtues you only gave to your
most beloved creation.

I did not hold a place and echo
in the womb yet, but I became the
core of your world,
who you wanted to know forever.
