Cecilia Francis

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 22, 2011

Away from the teasing shadows
she sang her faith to the critically ill
and watched as their hearts drew near
the hand of their genuine Father.

Each night she would sit at her study
while light bulbs fell and windows shed
such sorrows of their darkness,
but she wrote out prayers and delivered
them across the world,
not only for the mended but for the broken
who fear the mercy of our Savior.

For some reason I'm not sure who this is, I probably should? Excellent poem though, very inspirational and gives a glimpse into what kind of person she was, perhaps you could have made this longer further explaining who she was. I think you have a lot more you could say here.
