Death by Betrayl

by ibelievedhim   Feb 18, 2011

How could you ask me to make such a choice?
With pleading eyes and a broken voice.
I kept my silence to prove my worth.
Now your body lies dead beneath the earth.

The autopsy should read death by betrayal;
A friendship test only I could fail.
For never would I hurt my best friend.
Yet loyalty is what hurt the most in the end.

Now you've left me with all the lies;
To bear the hate and accusing eyes.
No one can hate as I hate so well,
For I am the monster that belongs in hell.

Don't spare me lord; I deserve to die.
It was me who silenced her every cry.
If only I had known the rules to the test.
Silence should be broken when the secret is death.
