That Part

Writing a poem, wishing you were near.
Singing a song, Hoping you can hear.
Missing you, you're everything I lack.
I never meant to hurt you, I just want you back.
So take the time to listen, to what i have to say.
You just need to know, it didn't have to be this way.
I never thought that when you said we would always be together, that you actually meant forever.
I wish I could go back, and change this horrible end.
I wish I could go back, and start over again.
I feel as if I'm locked up, and only you have a key.
I feel as if when you left, you took a part of me.
If you can't come back, then give me back that part.
For nobody in the world, can live without their heart.
