All of the sudden I miss everyone

This poem held such sadness...

Champagne glasses in the air
clicking against each other
mimicking the sound of falling crystals

^ That was GREAT description, i'm sure anyone who reads it will hear the clicking of the glasses!

for psychedelic paintings
upon these walls
only soothe the vision..

but never remove the coldness
from this empty house

^^ Yaki that was just AMAZING..i get so excited when you post a new poem because I know there is going to be at least one line i fall in love with!...That was just beautiful and I can relate to it so much within my own home which is why this poem was so sad for me.

Wonderfully written, sentimental with that reminiscence of tender times....that joy you miss...what a beautiful scene you have brought out to the readers, something vivid that you want to always be able to recall...truly written from the heart, and has you described, so much of that laughter changed souls, may it be remembered.

This sounds like you're suffering from nastalgia. It's a brilliant piece with excellent choice of wording. You have grown so much as a writer. This is sad but really well written and from the heart. I like the atmosphere you described. Well done.
