Tomorrow [vent/free write]

by Kuro   Apr 12, 2011

You can always say,
"It will be better tomorrow," right?
... right?

Sometimes the promise of tomorrow
Seems slightly more pathetic
Knowing what it will not entail.
Then the promise of tomorrow
Is a fear of no tomorrow.
It is always a day away, after all.

The illusion of tomorrow
Creates a false hope
I don't think tomorrow will come
Reality is, it could be worse tomorrow
If tomorrow ever comes

But it will be better tomorrow...
Right?...

It most certainly will be better tomorrow. The day after tomorrow will be slightly better than tomorrow and so on..it will all be easier and better - give it time.

On a poetry critique note, i love the style, the "right??" and long space/full stops. It all adds to the thought that you are asking somebody theese questions not yourself..if you get my drift. Good write.

So many of us have had these same thougts. When things just keep going wrong it is hard to want to see tomorrow come. Just have to have faith that things will get better.
    NIce job!

Tomorrow always comes regardless of how we feel and I suspect would come if we were not here. It is easy for someone to say things will be all right tomorrow, difficult for us to believe at the time. But if we survive each tomorrow, you will find that things do get better.
