In this foolish game of peek-a-boo
can you see Me?
I can clearly see you.
but can you find me, caged, never free?

hiding in corners
and locked in my cell
you think you can see Me?
well then welcome to hell.

now that you're here
I think I should say:
you didn't want to come
all the same, you don't have to stay

I'll smile as you leave
like so many before
and when you're gone
I'll re-lock all my doors

locked safe and tight,
all loose ends away,
you'll try to re-enter
but my locks won't sway

so farewell
and goodbye
I'll only wish
we'd never said "hi"
