Anna

by Michael D Nalley   Apr 25, 2011

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks
Ducks in a chicken coop hang out with chicks
Won't stand in the doorways or block up a hall
She won't stand on a pedestal for fear it will fall

A has been mod said she's almost a relic
But I think he was acting like a smart alick
Pretends to be offended but she's just slick
He'd like to see her teach him a new trick

Sees what they show her when she watches news
Doesn't mind standing by the fire to share her views
I'd never walk a green mile in her shoes
She is harmless and always pays her dues
