I am cautious, afraid
I wonder what the future brings
I hear rustling through the trees
I see a cloudy haze in the breeze
I want courage to display
I am cautious, afraid

I pretend to be unaware
I feel raindrops on my skin
I touch every color of the rainbow
I worry if anyone will find me
I cry exposing vulnerability
I am cautious, afraid

I understand patience is a virtue
I say love truly conquers all
I dream to escape my reality
I try to run from anxiety in my mind
I hope someone will understand
I am cautious, afraid

    This poem is filled with emotions and I love how you expressed them. I love the repetition of "I am cautious, afraid" and I like its significance to the poem. You painted lovely imagery... I love the part about touching all the colors of the rainbow. Very well done my friend! :)
