Daydreams

by Alissa   May 15, 2011

The crystals on my lampshade twinkle in the light, they are beautiful as they gleam with mystery and the hope of warmth from within the core, reminding me of childhood daydreams. Daydreams of a place where you sleep in a bed of clouds and lay in valleys of flowers, staring up at clear blue sky's. Daydreams of a land where your visions come to life; snowflakes are dancing on their way down from above, flowers are playing in the breeze as windchimes create a melody to the rhythm, rain is pouring down washing away the fog to reveal the rainbow and at night all the stars stay up late telling secrets for only twilight to know. These are the thoughts to hold on to and although they are just daydreams, who says daydreams can't come true.
