Enslaved

by Alissa   May 15, 2011

Lost in time, moments gone forever.

Black memories of dreamlike days that melt into a lifeless faze.

Eyes so vacant there is no end to the black.

A mind with thoughts so empty the ocean couldn't quench the thirst.

A life blinded in this maze, a life no longer their own but owned by the ritual that consumes them.

A heart that beats for only one thing.

A soul once full of love now enslaved to the search for the survival of the thing it hates the most.
