Thread me into your wing...

by Poet on the Piano   May 22, 2011

-

I'm only a quiet, distance rumble,
unable to be picked up
from a world where you are surrounded...
and my passion seems minuscule,
compared to the heat that steadily
becomes a throbbing heart I need.

Are you listening?
This emergency is clawing at my skin,
thread me back to life
and see what I am made of,
strands of life too thin to sew...

Save me in your shadow,
before I disappear by my own
disarray.
