A Stitch in Time

by Michael D Nalley   Jun 6, 2011

They say a stitch in time saves nine
Some don't think anything is asinine
Or so unforgivably absurd
About saying just one loving word

Some have heart but only half the mind
To love unconditionally and be kind
To the least of the Lord's people
Under the shelter of a steeple

What we sow is what we reap
Pray to God our souls will keep
Until every last wound is mended
While the healer has ascended

I love your guts, and your fortitude
That seeks to share the great attitude
Of focusing on the divine virtues above
None are greater than faith, hope ,and love
