All you have to do is move on
One foot in front of the other
And soon the memory of her will be gone
Erase, replace, a fresh start
Leave all the darkness at dawn

All you have to do is let go
Fresh memories will save your life
Forget everything you think you know
A new kind of indulgence
Learning to go with the flow

Another cold one
Served by a wiser man
He knows his drinks
He knows them well
And you do what you can

All you have to do is move on
One foot in front of the other
And soon the memory of her will be gone
Rease, replace, a fresh start
Leave all the darkness at dawn

All you have to do is let go
Fresh memories will save your life
Forget everything you think you know
A new kind of perpective
Learning to go with the flow

Another night alone
Miserable to the core
Fading thoughts
Fading pulse
On the road to something more

All you have to do is move on
One foot in front of the other
And soon the memory of her will be gone
Erase, replace, a fresh start
Leave all the darkness at dawn

All you have to do is let go
Fresh memories to save your life
Forget everything you think you know
a new kind of fantasy
Learning to go with the flow

Erase the pain
Falling in shame
Same old game
Nothing to gain
Fortune and fame
No longer the same
Its coming, it came
Losing your name
Always the same
Wild and tame

I feel this mastermind working behind this- the conflicts that are battling for control.

The part that spoke out the most for me was to forget your past purposes, and have fresh days and memories to walk on....a different path where you aren't haunted by your fortune.

An interesting, twisting piece that creates emotions about where we are taken......what we would do to move on.

    Please keep writing, God bless!
