My Last Good-Bye

I can't say I'm perfect
I can't say I'm grand
In fact I can't say anything, with this bottle in my hand.
I thought I knew you
And you thought you knew me
But when it comes down to it, we were as clueless as could be.
We shared a history; a past life you might say
And now that it's over, there are no words left to say.
So here it is, my last good-bye
And no more tears shall I cry.

    To love deeply is to love enough to say goodbye. It's always hard to say goodbye. Sometimes it's the right thing to do, but sometimes we say goodbye in a rush and later regret it...

    Yah it was a really emotional poem for me, i wrote it as a way to say goodbye to an ex as well as my ex best friend.

    I love it, and i experience it...really hard to say goodbye especially when 'that is not supposed to be saying'.....now i regret everything i've done...

    I truly did enjoy reading this poem. It flowed so nice. I can relate...its hard to say goodbye and it doesn't have to be to just people
